1. Ealing Golf Club course is not for beginners. Guests who cannot play to a competent standard will not enjoy the day. We do expect that all your players can play to a reasonable standard and will not hold up play. Each player must have his own set of golf clubs, proper golf shoes and is expected to know and carry out the normal etiquette of golf.
2. Confirmation The Organiser MUST confirm to the club precise numbers at LEAST FOURTEEN DAYS prior to the date of the event. The club cannot guarantee to accommodate more players than originally booked.
3. Non-Refundable Deposits / Cancellations A deposit request will be forwarded and your cheque should be returned with the signed booking form, and a receipted VAT invoice will be issued. The deposit must be received no later than the date shown on our request and, if not received, the Club reserves the right to release the booking without notice. The deposit is non-refundable.
4. Course Dress Code Please ensure that your guests are aware of the Club's Golf Course Dress Code in order to avoid embarrassment.
5. Mobile Phones Mobile phones are not permitted on the golf course. There is restricted use within the clubhouse.
6. Timings Your reserved tee times and meal times are pre-arranged and therefore it is essential that these times be strictly adhered to. You will be notified of your timings in the final confirmation of booking.
7. Damage The Client, in accepting these Terms and Conditions assumes responsibility for any and all damage caused by him/her or any member of the party, whether in rooms reserved or in any part of the Clubhouse or grounds.
8. Cancellation by Ealing Golf Club Ltd The Club reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservations: If the Club or any part of it is closed due to fire, natural disaster, employee dispute, alteration, demolition, decoration or by order of any public authority. If the Client becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership. If the reservation is potentially detrimental to the reputation of the Club. If inclement weather causes the cancellation of a golf event the Club will refund any deposit made, but will have no further liability to the Client.
9. Club Rules Club Rules require gentlemen to wear smart casual clothing in the Dining Room. Groups playing more than 18 holes will not be required to change for lunch. Golf shoes are ONLY permitted in the Spike Bar.
10. Safety In the interest of safety it is requested that guests attending a function in the clubhouse are NOT to stray onto the golf course but to remain within the garden area. Children are to be kept under parental control at all times. The putting green is for members only.
GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE: The course dress code for Ealing Golf Club requires all golfers to wear clothes specifically for golf that comply with the following criteria.
TROUSERS All types or colour of denim, paramilitary or camouflage style trousers, combat trousers or tracksuits are strictly prohibited. Trousers must not be tucked into socks.
SHORTS/SOCKS Shorts MUST be tailored and worn with sports socks. Football, beach and running shorts are NOT acceptable.
SHIRTS Golf shirts must have collars and sleeves. T Shirts and vests are not allowed. Rugby/Football style shirts are PROHIBITED.
SHOES Shoes designed for the purpose of playing golf only are permitted. All other styles or types, such as trainers are prohibited.
LADIES Ladies must conform to the essence, spirit and intent of the dress code.
MOBILE PHONES Mobile phones are only permitted on the course for emergency use and MUST BE SWITCHED OFF.
ENFORCEMENT The General Manager, Professional and Staff are authorised by the Board of Directors to require any member or visitor, whose dress does not comply with the dress code, to leave the course. Members who decline to comply with this code will be reported to the Membership Committee.
