Ricky Willison is a vastly experienced Professional, who is passionate about the game and loves to pass on his knowledge to golfers of all standards and abilities.

He had a hugely sucessful amateur career in which he won several presigious trophies and played for England and the Great Britain & Ireland side. He turned Pro, and played for seven years on the European Tour in the 1990's and as we write in 2010, has recently qualified, and is enjoying fresh success on the European Seniors Tour.

His knowledge has been forged by playing with some of the world's top players, learning all aspects of the game of golf from them. He is convinced that personal coaching in all aspects of the game can provide instant results and Ricky has worked closely with various Middlesex County teams since 2002. His invaluable experience and knowledge is passed on in his tuition programmes.

Ricky offers a range of services such as lessons and coaching and he runs a well-stocked retail outlet at the Club. This shop is open to visitors as well as Members, and now includes a fully equipped custom-club fitting service.

Excellent coaching facilities for every part of the game
With practice facilities and the course available, there is a lesson style for everyone. On the practice ground Ricky can work on your swing with the use of video and other training aids such as "the Explanar" if required. The putting green and chipping area by the Clubhouse make short game practice very convenient.

On-course lessons are probably the best for those who feel that most parts of their game are almost there. During these lessons Ricky will walk with you, helping you plan how to play each hole using your handicap: when to go for carries and when to lay up, getting out of the rough and working on varying the clubs you use to make chipping and pitching as effective as possible.

Lessons are available Monday to Friday.

The shop is usually open for your essentials like balls, tees and gloves, from 7.30 am to 5pm (6.30pm in the summer). There are demo clubs to try on the course or practice ground. There is a full range of top brands and Ricky can advise and fit you for any club. Equipment can be bought at very competitive rates, as Ricky sources them through a major buying group, so there’s every reason to see what’s in Ricky's shop.
