Our rules and dress code are straightforward – put simply we ask that:
You leave the course as you would wish to find it, replacing divots, raking bunkers and repairing pitch marks.
Dress on the course is golf clothing of the type that could be bought in the Pro Shop or any other golf specialist, including golf shoes with soft spikes (to protect our greens)
Dress in the clubhouse is (at a minimum) smart casual and appropriate (as would be defined by a majority of reasonably minded people).
More specifically on the course:
Any types or colour of denim, paramilitary or camouflage style trousers, combat trousers or tracksuits is not allowed; trousers should not be tucked into socks.
Shorts should be tailored and worn with sports socks; football, beach and running shorts are not acceptable.
Golf shirts should have collars and sleeves; T shirts, vests, rugby or football style shirts are not acceptable.
Shoes must be designed specifically for golf, with soft not metal spikes.
In the Spike bar only, golf shoes and trainers, smart denim trousers and clean T shirts are allowed – but no hats in the clubhouse please.
Ladies should conform to the essence, spirit and intent of this dress code.
Mobile phones are permitted on the course for emergency use only and should be switched off. Mobile phones are allowed in the Clubhouse, but we would ask Members and their guests to respect other people when using their phones.
