We welcome new Junior members – boys and girls – to our thriving set-up here at Ealing. The section is an important part of the Club, providing a structure for development of each Junior's ability, with strong support from the Junior Organiser and helpers. Our Director of Golf, Ricky Willison, was himself (many years ago) an Ealing Junior and is highly committed to the section’s continued success.
We offer complete pathway to Golf starting with learning the basics in a fun way at our Academies to starting to get out on the course under supervision (‘Playgolf’ Junior membership) to independent play with plenty of coaching to help fulfil your potential (Full Junior Membership). You don’t have to join to start getting involved with our Academies and clubs are provided.
At Ealing Juniors get:
- Guidance on golf course and club etiquette
- Group lessons with an ex-European Tour Professional
- Unlimited use of the practice facilities and unlimited access the course at most times
- Extra support to gain an official handicap
- Regular competitions and events
- Organised competitions during school holidays and half terms
- The opportunity to play in inter-club matches with other Juniors
To get involved the first port of call should be our Director for Golf, Ricky Willison (or Neil Jordan our PGA Teaching Professional) who assesses Juniors to ensure that they get involved at the right level for their age and current abilities.
Ealing Juniors have enjoyed much success over the years and we have bred individuals and teams that have gone on to achieve great things in the game. Two of our recent Juniors, Pavan Sagoo and David Ryan have already enjoyed a lot of success in the game, and are currently pursuing their careers in golf at College in the USA – and there are several others in the pipeline.
The collective spirit in the section ensures that those who aspire, get to play with and against other like-minded players, who are already achieving. There is no better way to learn, enjoy and improve.
