We provide the following to our Members and to Visitors.

* A daily club Menu, Specials and a monthly Carvery
* Parties and Business Meetings
* Weddings - with Banqueting for up to 120 covers

We require staff with proven, previous bar / waiting experience to help us deliver the above.

The role is varied, providing for the differing needs of both Club Members and Visitors – therefore,  good, flexible customer service skills are essential. The person(s) chosen will be part of a small and friendly team, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Candidates should be confident, self-motivated and speak good English. Our Customers expect a friendly and welcoming service.   Must be a good team player, hands-on and prepared to perform any F&B related role.

Will be experienced, possess initiative and show maturity

Will have excellent customer service skills and speak good English
Will be keen to take on responsibility and assist the F&B Manager
Will be a “team player”
Will be versatile / e.g. able to deal with suppliers and/or perform cellar mamangement
Will be numerate and experienced in using tills
Will have his/her own transport and/or live locally


A minimum of 37.5 hours per week, working on a 7 day rota (includes evenings and weekends).

We are a long established, traditional Members’ Golf Club with some 500 members, many of whom are regular users of our Food & Beverage service.  In addition to serving our members, we run external events including weddings, parties and conferences.
