‘Start/Play Golf’ Memberships For Juniors
Stage 1 – Start Golf Junior Programme
For juniors aged 8 & over, this scheme provides a fast way for beginners, or relative beginners to gain the skills and confidence to start enjoying the pleasures of golf.
This innovative scheme provides the foundations for golf, from Driving from the tee, to hitting iron shots as well as learning about the short game. Our Professionals will help with all aspect of the game.
The ‘term’ lasts for 5 lessons (equipment is provided) after which there is an assessment to evaluate your progress. Once you have achieved the required level, you are then invited to graduate into the next stage – Start Golf Plus Junior Programme
There is no pressure to join the next stage & you can repeat this stage as many times as you wish, you only need to move on to the next level when you feel comfortable and confident.
The cost for the 5 Lesson course is £100
Stage 2 – Start Golf Junior Plus Programme
The focus at this stage is to get juniors ready for the Golf Course. Our Start Golf Junior Plus programme has been designed to develop your newly acquired skills. The combination of individual lessons both on the practise ground & the Golf course will help to prepare you for progression to our – EGC Play Golf Junior Membership.
The cost for the 5 Lesson course is £125
Stage 3 – EGC Play Golf Junior Membership
Our Playgolf Junior Membership enables you to get a feel for Golf club membership. This is a 12 month membership & is a great way of getting to know our members. During your membership, you will have the opportunity to improve your golf & submit scorecards to obtain an official CONGU handicap. You will also be introduced to fellow junior golfers who will help familiarise you with club life. Once you have your handicap you will be ready for the next stage.
Playgolf Membership enables you to have access to the golf course 7 days per week as follows:
When playing with Juniors at reserved tee times:
- After 2 p.m. weekdays and after 3 pm at weekends – during the summer (Apr-Sep)
- After 1 pm weekdays and after 3 pm at weekends – during winter months (Oct-Mar)
*Non-competition days only and tee times need to be booked through the Pro-shop
When playing with an adult:
- After 3 pm weekdays and after 4 pm at weekends = during the summer (Apr-Sep)
- After 1 pm weekdays and after 2 pm at weekends during the winter months (Oct-Mar)

How much does it cost?
£200 for 12 months & also includes:-
1. Use of the practice ground, practice nets, chipping green and practice putting green
2. On course sessions covering all golf matters with Ricky Willison
Stage 4 – EGC Junior Membership
Once you have obtained a WHS handicap index, you can apply for full junior golf membership at Ealing GC.
Junior subscriptions are £250 and £200 for under-14s.
In addition, the children (or grandchildren) of Full members receive a 50% discount on these rates, the children of other golf members receive 25% discount.
